Hi, I’m Janet.
I’m a mom, a friend, a neighbor, and a longtime Johnson County resident. I’m also an experienced business and community leader, and I’m running for Johnson County Supervisor in District 2.
Johnson County has been my home since 1987. I attended the University of Iowa, raised my two children here with the support of Iowa City public schools, and spent 35 years working at ACT. Along the way, I volunteered on local boards and served on the Iowa City Community School District Board.
Through all of these experiences, I’ve developed a deep respect for this community and a strong belief in what’s possible here. I’m running not for a title or a paycheck, but because I want to do the work that helps Johnson County move forward — thoughtfully, responsibly, and together.
